Nathi changing table in the new Karolinska Institute

We are proud of the fact that Wingårdh's architects' office has chosen the Nathi changing table for the toilets in the Karolinska Institute's new assembly hall. The hall is intended to be a representative place where Nobel lectures, other big symposiums and meetings for scientists, amongst other events, can be held. Now you can find two Nathis here in a special colour - black with a mat finish.

New byBO design team

We are pleased to be able to inform you that our new highly competent team (you will find contact information here! ) isin place. The new organization focuses on three areas: logistics & customer services, new markets and the launching of new exciting products:

* Logistics and customer services – to ensure fast service and efficient deliveries.

* The launching of our products in new markets. Happily enough we often receive enquiries from new markets. We now have the resources to handle these and to be able to evaluate and choose new partners that can market our products in a successful manner.

* Launch new exciting products. The next on our list is a baby's cot in lovely bentwood, light design and with different functions, tested according to European norms. The cot can be folded up with one simple manoeuvre, you take the stand with you and an extra fixture and there you go – you have a travel cot, too. Two functions in one without having to compromise on design and safety.

byBO has been given the honour of developing and designing a changing table for disabled parents in France

Bo Ekström, (read more about Bo here) ByBO design's founder and designer, was contacted by an organization for disabled parents in France. They wanted a highly functional and handicap-adapted changing table in an attractive design, a desire they had had for a long time but never been able to fulfil.

– I have to admit that I didn't know that there was a demand for changing tables adapted for disabled parents, says Bo. The Society for the Disabled became interested in me when on my home page they caught sight of and fell for my changing table that stands on the floor- the one I had designed earlier for Peter Stormare.

The table proved to work for parents with different disabilities but it needed to be developed. Bo worked out an idea after intense discussions with various French state institutions.
